The kick-off meeting of the project SunSharing - Supporting Solar Energy Communities in Southeast Europe was held in Zagreb, on the 24^th and 25^th of January 2023, at the premises of the University of Zagreb - Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture.

All project partners, from the town of Prelog (HR), University of Western Macedonia (EL), SDEWES Skopje (MK) and Green Synergy Cluster (BG) participated in the meeting together with the lead partner, University of Zagreb - Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture and interested local stakeholders (Green Energy Cooperative).

The meeting signaled the start of the implementation of a project focused on fostering the implementation of energy communities based on PV power plants in all participating countries and crowdfunding initiatives addressing such investments. The SunSharing project started in December 2022 and will last until December 2024.
