On April 12, 2024, the "Organizing Energy Communities: A Workshop for Citizens, Organizations, and Key Stakeholders" took place in Skopje, North Macedonia, at the Panoramika Hotel.

This event, part of the SunSharing project, was organized by the International Centre for Sustainable Development of Energy, Water, and Environment Systems – Macedonian Section (SDEWES-Skopje), CDI Macedonia – Community Development Institute, in collaboration with Solare Zukunft.

Over 50 participants from various sectors gathered to exchange experiences and knowledge on several key topics:

-         - Business models and tools for energy communities

-         - Innovative financing models and crowdfunding

-         - Supporting energy community formation

-         - Regulatory developments relevant to energy communities in North Macedonia

-         - Best practice examples from Germany, presented by Solare Zukunft

The workshop significantly contributed to the participants' capacity building and reinforced collaboration through valuable networking opportunities.
