Brief description
Hyperion was established at 2020 in Athens. It consists of 160 members and is open to new members, which are introduced when there is a new RES project to be supported financially. The new members are introduced when the new RES license is issued. Firstly, there are 40 members for implementing a PV systma with nominal power of 80kWp. However, this project was rejected due to lack of electrical space. Then, the EC successfully applied for a larger PV of 499 kWp in a different location and therefore its membership increased to 160. Finally, it is important to note that a share of the energy produced by this PV system would be used to mitigate the energy poverty.
